This is my main (and currently only continuing) universe.  Beginning on the day that Trixie, Honey, and Diana graduate from high school, it blends traditional and non-traditional elements.

The "chapter" designations are more to indicate a continuing universe and the proper chronological order of the stories than to make sure the reader hits every single story.  Plus, I just fell in love with Annette's "chapterette" designations for the stories that I went back and wrote and then stuck into the already established timeline.  All of the chapters (or sets of chapters) can easily stand alone as complete stories and I will try to make these notations for the casual reader.

However, I do not provide exposition in every single story, such as was found in the canon series.  I personally find that kind of constant exposition annoying.  I assume if you're reading Trixie fanfic, you're familiar with the canon characters.  I do not do a recap of everybody's past, how they met, who they're related to, what their job is, who they're dating, married to, sleeping with, or broken up with, what they all want to do with their lives, etc. in each story, so there may be spoilers and/or missing background information if you skip around in your reading.  I can't be responsible for that confusion or mayhem in your brain (grin).  If you don't want to be confused, I suggest starting at the beginning, or reading my Synopsis Page.

My goal in my fanfic writing is very simple:  To faithfully, and to the best of my abilities, lay out the stories that the characters tell me.

I will not qualify that goal with any restrictions as to traditional/non-traditional pairings, what did or did not happen in the already fairly well mucked up canon, my personal moral, ethical, or religious beliefs, what I want to happen, or even what my readers would like to read.  Though I truly appreciate their loyalty and enthusiasm for my stories, I don't cater to the audience.  I write because I must and I don't think I would be true to myself as a writer if I allowed their wishes and desires to take priority over what the characters know happened in this universe.

To this end, there may be stories you'd rather not read.  You may not be old enough to access some of the stories.  You may even shy away from the whole universe because it doesn't fit the picture you already have in your head.  I understand and respect that and only ask the same respect for my vision.  And I am truly grateful to the readers who are willing to open their hearts and minds to new possibilities and take a chance on my story.  Your support is appreciated more than you know.

The stories these characters are telling me lead down many varied and fascinating roads.  Anything can happen and you should be prepared for anything.  You can expect humor, drama, joy, tragedy, silliness, serious issues, etc.  Just like real life.  I don't believe in fairy tales.  What I do believe in is the ultimate triumph of good over evil.  Choices made and Roads Not Taken affect people's lives, for better and for worse, always with the thread of love and friendship running through and holding them all together, helping them to weather whatever life throws at them.  To me, this is the true spirit of the Bob-Whites.  Who wouldn't want friends like these?
